Playfront

Patch 5.25 is now available for the online MMO ‘Final Fantasy XIV’ from Square Enix, which includes new side-quest series. The new order series of the “Queen’s Guard” promises a new adventure, written by Yasumi Matsuno (FINAL FANTASY Tactics, FINAL FANTASY XII), who previously wrote the story of the popular raid series “Return to Ivalice”.

The latest update also includes new content for collectors and artisans, as well as new combat content that goes hand in hand with the new order series to improve weapons:

  • New line of missions to improve the “Weapons of Resistance”: “Queen’s Guard” – This brand new line of missions will be expanded regularly in the future, allowing adventurers to acquire powerful weapons while learning more about the Bozja Citadel and its residents, the Hrothgar. Players can also experience new missions of Resistance Weapons, which consist of multiple bosses, with game progress saved throughout.
  • New extremely difficult test – groups of eight players can tackle this demanding test fight.
  • Content for collectors and craftsmen: “Sky Steel Tool” – This new order series allows collectors and craftsmen classes to upgrade their Sky Steel tool to increasingly powerful instruments. This order series will also be expanded in future patches, which will allow players to further improve their tools.
  • New items, synthesis recipes, furniture and more.
