Recently, Capcom has been particularly successful with the remakes of the Resident Evil series, most recently with ‘Resident Evil 3’, which has been available for a few days.
As it seems, the publisher is considering producing another new edition, according to a survey (via). This is currently taking place in Asia and would like to know what interest there is in general, whether this is tied to certain platforms or whether you have had enough of remakes in the meantime.
After Resident Evil 3, for example, a remake of Resident Evil 4 was initiated, and Code Veronica is still very popular with the players.
If you believe current rumors, Resident Evil 8 is next on the plan, which should appear sometime in 2021 and possibly be announced in the coming weeks.
