Resident Evil 3 Remake – launch trailer for today’s release

Playfront

With a short launch spot, Capcom also commemorates the release of ‘Resident Evil 3 Remake’, which is now available.

Resident Evil 3 takes place in Raccoon City and accompanies video game icon Jill Valentine on her spectacular escape from the Nemesis – a gigantic, humanoid bio-weapon that is notorious for its brutality and sophisticated intelligence. Equipped with an arsenal of powerful weapons and dressed in a black coat that hides his mutations, Nemesis cannot be stopped by anything or anyone. Jill’s grueling escape takes place in the dramatic hours surrounding the events of Resident Evil 2. Intense battles and tricky puzzles characterize the heartbeat finale of Raccoon City’s demise.

Resident Evil Resistance

The impressive one-player experience is complemented by Resident Evil Resistance – an asymmetrical multiplayer experience that was already shown as a project at the Tokyo Game Show and which allows four players to compete against a mastermind. As a mastermind behind the scenes, players can take on the role of key characters in the series, such as Annette Birkin, in various deadly experiments.

They can play cards that manipulate the environment, set traps or arm security cameras to stop survivors. For the first time in a row, masterminds can even take control of the best bio-weapons like G-Birkin or the Tyrant. In return, four survivors need to work together to save themselves from the experiments with their individual skills and equipment before their time runs out.

Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Resistance will overlap in content as soon as Jill Valentine is integrated into the multiplayer as a playable survivor in a free update on April 17, 2020.
