F1 2020, video Reviews. The show in motion

F1 2020, video analysis. The show in motion

We show you the benefits of one of the best F1 games we have ever seen to date. Now on sale on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The Formula 1 show is not slowed down by the coronavirus. F1 2020 reaches our homes as one of the most complete deliveries to date. Codemasters has continued to push the limits of a product that already showed its best version in 2019. This year’s edition converges around the My Team mode, the possibility of being the owner and first pilot of our own team.

It will be up to us to personalize the identity of our team, from its symbol to the location of the sponsor’s stickers. This blend of management and driving is shaped in an almost perfect balance. There are two main aspects: on the one hand, Grand Prix weekends, whose experience is similar to what we have experienced in previous editions. The novelty lies in what happens between them. We will remain in the factory, where we will perform the duties of director.

Far from the My Team mode, it is worth noting the relevance of the new ERS system. For a couple of years, it was the player who had to manage the expense of the energy supplied by the hybrid engine. However, F1 2020 is updated to fit reality. Now, it is the team behind the monitors who are in charge of using the optimal performance mode. In practice, you will be granted the overtake button, an option to manually activate an extra extra strength at times when the maximum of the car is required. This turns the experience into one more focused on piloting. And if you have a moment of respite, you can always access photo mode, one of the usual ones for a few years.
