Babylon's Fall development progresses well, according to Square Enix and Platinum Games

The new Platinum Games and Square Enix, Babylon’s Fall, progresses with its development uninterrupted and promises news “as soon as possible”.

Through their official Twitter account, Platinum Games and Square Enix have offered a new statement about the progress of development of their new work, Babylon’s Fall. We remember that this is a work that was officially announced at E3 2018 and that since then we have had little news about it beyond a new gameplay trailer. For now, we know that it will land on PC and PS4 and it will be an action adventure set in a dark and decadent medieval universe. As confirmed by the company in charge, its development is progressing without interruptions that could have happened due to the coronavirus crisis that is taking place around the world.

Babylon’s Fall development continues smoothly

“Regards. Thank you to all the fans who have followed the updates for Babylon’s Fall. Although we hoped to be able to reveal more about the game this summer, we can already share that the development of Babylon’s Fall is proceeding smoothly, while the team works from home and safely. Square Enix and Platinum Games are dedicated to providing an exciting experience and we look forward to unveiling much more about Babylon’s Fall as soon as possible, ”the official statement via Twitter detailed.

For this reason, all that remains is to wait to be able to learn about this proposal from Platinum Games and Square Enix, which is surrounded by many more unknowns than clear answers at the moment. Even so, coming from a studio that has created works such as NieR: Automata and Bayonetta, we trust that the title in question has a quality consistent with the Platinum seal it will bear. On the other hand, we are still waiting for news about Bayonetta 3, the installment that will close the Witch of Umbra trilogy.
