Death Stranding, now available for pre-purchase on Steam and Epic Games Store

The title of Hideo Kojima is planned for PC, but will not reach the market until next summer 2020.

From cold to heat, from winter to summer. Death Stranding goes on sale in two different stations, depending on the version. PlayStation 4 has received it this November 8, not without a review bombing attack by disenchanted users. The PC, on the other hand, will have to wait a little longer. However, the Steam and Epic Games Store page of the video game is now operational and allows you to pre-purchase it now, at a price of 59.99 euros.

The compatible version is published by 505 Games, the company that has also been in charge of Control, the most recent work of Remedy Entertainment (which also comes with the cameo of Hideo Kojima himself). Regarding the release date, nothing more concrete than what was said when it was announced: it will arrive in early summer 2020, about 6 months after its original release.

A documentary about Death Stranding and Hideo Kojima

AXN will premiere a documentary on November 8 at 11 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time). This is Hideo Kojima: beyond the video game, an audiovisual work written by the journalist Nacho Requena, who also collaborates in this house. The author of The Legacy of Big Boss delves into the figure and career of the Japanese creative, while giving voice to several people in the audiovisual landscape, among which is the filmmaker Nacho Vigalondo.

Death Stranding tells the story of Sam Porter Bridges, a man who works as a delivery man, but who will have a difficult task ahead of him. Kojima has worked on the concept of connections to spin the plot of a video game that touches on that theme in all its aspects, from its narrative part to its playable facet. Asynchronous multiplayer allows players to interact and help each other. For example, a user can alter the world by building a bridge, which will then impact the world, as other players can take advantage of it.
