Destiny 2: Bungie Corrects the Power of Milestone Rewards

It will be easier to climb from level 950 to 960 through the raid and special events.

Bungie recently corrected one of the widespread complaints among the Destiny 2 community. Patch 2.6.1.1 improves the Milestone reward system to change the level of Power granted. Instead of going point by point, now all attached objects will raise the light level up to two points.

So far, the system was somewhat frustrating for those who had reached 950, the maximum allowed by common objects. Having the possibility of climbing up to 952 was only possible if you were able to have all the equipment of 951. Therefore, you could spend weeks missing a specific piece; it all depended on pure and hard luck, if you did it before the end of the season. This loot is only possible to obtain through the most important activities of the game, such as the raid or special events. The goal: reach 960.

With this change, players should start to obtain pieces of 952 after they have at least 4 different from 951. On the other hand, the rate of obtaining two of the weapons linked to the season pass, the automatic Super Plus rifle, has been adjusted. and the light machine gun Temporary Prayer. They can also be obtained by completing Vex Offensives, in addition to the methods already known: Assaults, Crucible games and Gambit
