SEGA celebrates its 60th anniversary with a special promotion that includes the gift of several titles that cross some of its emblematic sagas.
From this October 19 until next October 20, the unexpected Streets of Kamurocho can be downloaded for free through Steam, a beat ‘em up where the Streets of Rage series and Yakuza go hand in hand. As a celebration for SEGA’s 60th anniversary, the Japanese company is holding a celebration with a commemorative website, discounts and gifts, from Nights into the Dreams to this title I against the neighborhood.
Streets of Kamurocho is exactly what it sounds like, a title designed to inherit the gameplay of the classic Streets of Rage series (with special reminiscence of the second installment) and the intellectual property of the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, Yakuza, which until now had been faithful to the gameplay with the beat ’em up combat system in three dimensions; although now it goes to the JRPG in turns with the expected Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which goes on sale on November 10. Getting Streets of Kamurocho on Steam for PC is really easy.
Date and how to download Streets of Kamurocho: only until Tuesday, October 20
As we said, Streets of Kamurocho will only be available until this Tuesday, October 20, at 7:00 p.m. (CEST). From that moment on, we will no longer be able to claim the free digital copy of the game on our Steam account. “Put yourself in the shoes of two of the most beloved characters, Kiryu and Majima, to distribute firewood throughout Kamurocho,” reads the official description of the game, only available in English. And yes, we can play in split-screen cooperative mode with another person.
To claim our free copy of the title on Steam, simply log in with our account, open the launcher (or download it if we have not done so) and add the game to the library.
