This version redesigns an important part of the original game’s systems, which have been modified based on the feedback received.

Novarama, the creators of Invizimals, has announced that the major update to their action RPG is now available to all players. This is Killsquad: CORE, a new version of the title that had already been in open beta for three weeks. As confirmed by the Barcelona-based studio, recent ratings on Steam have soared to 90/100. The title, a role-playing game for four players, invites us to become mercenaries in search of fame and loot.

In a press release, the Catalan developer assures that CORE “remakes a large part of Killsquad’s game systems.” It has been conceived as an update that has not turned a deaf ear to user comments, but has drawn on that feedback with the aim of improving the title to the maximum. This renewed version adds an unpublished campaign mode, automatic save points, “more than 30 enemies and new variations, damage types and elemental resistance”, in addition to other functions “that will make the delight for fans of games like Gauntlet or Helldrivers ”.

The game is in early access

Killsquad: CORE is still in the early access phase. On the Steam page, Novarama explains why they have opted for this option: “We have reached a point where the game is fully playable and we want to involve the community to improve it, from the balance to the game design options. Early access allows us to interact directly with the community and thus make the best possible game together ”.

In this futuristic production, the galaxy is in chaos: planets rebel and large corporations train their Killsquads to seize the wealth that is still hidden. Players must organize their team, choose their protagonists and equip them with the best weapons and equipment. “Unleash hell in a relentless battle through hordes of monsters and bosses.”
