Microsoft rectifies: Kingdom Hearts HD will arrive on Xbox One, but not Xbox Game Pass

Although Phil Spencer affirmed during the X019 Inside Xbox, it was an error that the company has already reported to the press.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 is confirmed for Xbox One, but it won't be on Xbox Game Pass. At least it will not do so at the moment, because although Phil Spencer announced it during the Inside Xbox, which was held in the bosom of the X019, the great event of Microsoft, the reality is that the head of the Xbox division is mistaken. Microsoft has contacted FreeGameTips to clarify the situation and to rectify that information.

The company uncovered many of the titles that will be released between the end of 2019 and throughout 2020. In addition to first-party games such as Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Bleeding Edge, Tell me Why or Wasteland 3, other non-Microsoft sagas are will post on the service. This is the case of Final Fantasy, which will include all the main chapters since the seventh installment. SEGA will also release one of the sagas that until now had been exclusive to PlayStation consoles. We refer to Yakuza 0, 1 and 2, which will be available in both the PC and console versions.

New intellectual properties

In addition to the Xbox Game Pass, there was also time to announce new video games. Obsidian Entertainment, a study recently acquired by Microsoft, has just launched The Outer Worlds, but is already working on its next projects. As the study explained, they have been with Grounded for more than a year, a survival video game set in a world reminiscent of Bugs. On the other hand, RARE presented a new IP, Everwild, and Dontnod Entertainment did the same with Tell me Why, a production that takes into account the representation of the trans collective.

Project Scarlett, the new console of Microsoft, did not have a single second in the Inside Xbox, but they have transcended some interesting data. Phil Spencer acknowledges the mistakes of the past with Xbox One and notes that they will not commit them again, while Aaron Greenberg, general manager of the division, said the company's first-party games will receive improvements to the new console for free.
