THQ Nordic and Koch Media, with a taste for the past

There are many franchises with which THQ Nordic has been made in recent times, some of them already given practically lost, but if there is any that causes special expectation, that is Timesplitters, although Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media, recognizes that The resurrection process of this will not be easy. In an interview with the Games Industry media, Kundratitz says they are in fact still "looking for ways to bring her back." The first installment dates from the year 2000, being the most recent Timesplitters: Future Perfect, launched on PlayStation 2, Xbox and Game Cube already in 2005, having obviously changed things, obviously, things and tastes in the genre of the shooter, and speaking as we do two generations ago nothing less.

That is why this is causing so many headaches to everyone involved, from Kundratitz, to Ellis. However, the first recognizes that Ellis is the most suitable to talk about how they plan to do so. "It's a question Steve should answer," he says. "We realize the fact that we are not creating games for the past, we are creating them for future audiences, which have completely different expectations than there were 15 or 20 years ago. I will only say that you are attentive to what we are preparing."

If what THQ Nordic plans for Timesplitters is a new installment or a remake of the original, it is something that remains in the most absolute mystery. Meanwhile, the next IP that will revive the company is Destroy All Humans!, Whose remake will see the light over the next year, as well as SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Rehydrated Fund.
