To herald the arrival of the new skins of The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon and Michonne, a portal appears in Fortnite from which they will reach the island.

On December 16 at 01:00 CET there was a curious change in the Fortnite map. The Zero Point, the huge orb in the center of the island, opened a portal at a specific point on it. Through this portal will arrive Daryl Dixon and Michonne from The Walking Dead, who will become skins of the game. We tell you everything we know about this little piece of history from Season 5 of the Battle Pass of Fortnite Chapter 2:

As we say, at this specific point on the island, north of Alameda Afligida, Punto Cero has generated a portal:

As we approach it, it will open, and we can hear the groans of zombies that reside on the other side:

However, if we get too close to it and try to go through it, it will close; Zero Point does not allow us to escape the island:

The fact that it has appeared at this point has its explanation: it is the point where Daryl Dixon and Michonne, from The Walking Dead, should arrive on the island, as we could see in their launch trailer published at the gala of The Game Awards 2020:

The theme of Season 5 of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Battle Pass is hunters. After the Galactus event of Season 4, Agent Jonesy is dedicated to traveling through different realities to recruit the best hunters as long as the rest of the characters do not escape the loop created on the island. That is why he comes to the world of The Walking Dead, and he takes Daryl and Michonne with him, to help the rest of the mercenaries (the characters of the Battle Pass) to hunt down all the other Fortnite characters.
