This curious way of playing is complemented by a glove that allows you to use force at a stroke.

Becoming a Jedi and distributing sabblazos right and left is the dream of many Star Wars fans. Although it is not the first time that we incarnate one of these warriors, some will surely want to engage in fighting with their own lightsaber in their hands. That is precisely what Rudeism has achieved, an expert in the construction of alternative forms of control for games. This time it was the turn of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the new production of Respawn Entertainment.

The control knob is a lightsaber made of plastic that introduces motion sensors. It is accompanied by gloves to which buttons have been added to move. Therefore, the fights against enemies work at the blow of a lightsaber, which as if it were Wii, reproduces the movements of the hand. The glove, meanwhile, is reserved for displacement and for techniques that use force.

Unfortunately for Star Wars fans, none of these devices is commercially available. Of course, who knows, maybe some modder can configure the Wii remote or PlayStation Move to work in a similar way. For the moment, we will have to settle for viewing the video that we show below.

EA returns to Steam

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available since November 15 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The story puts the player in the shoes of Cal Kestis, an ancient Jedi who hides on a distant planet to avoid the witch hunt established by the Galactic Empire.

The Respawn Entertainment game also marks the return of Electronic Arts to Steam, after several years absent from the Valve platform. From now on, all of the company's PC games will be marketed in EA Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store. Multiplayer titles such as Apex Legends will arrive in early 2020.
