Assassin's Creed will feature an official radio adaptation

The saga is introduced on the radio with an original sound fiction starring Riz Ahmed, Anthony Head and Danny Wallace.

In the absence of a series with flesh and blood actors, Ubisoft has not only produced comics, books and a film based on Assassin's Creed, but now also enters the sound fiction format. Assassin's Creed Gold, exclusive to Audible, is the first radio adaptation of the killer saga. This has been confirmed exclusively by Syfy, which has also advanced the cast that has come together to make this project a reality.

The author of the adaptation is Anthony Del Col (Kill Shakespeare), who has written eight episodes starring Riz Ahmed (Venom), Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Tamara Lawrence (No Offence) and Danny Wallace, the only one who has worked on The franchise before. In fact, this actor has given voice to Shaun Hastings, a character present in Assassin's Creed 2, The Brotherhood, Revelations, Black Flag, Unity and Syndicate.

"We are very proud to announce our collaboration with Audible to create our first sound fiction inspired by a Ubisoft game," said Aymar Azaizia, head of transmedia products based on the murderers franchise. “We always look for new ways to keep players immersed in our worlds. We firmly believe that Assassin's Creed Gold provides a great opportunity for all our fans to immerse themselves in a new story inspired by the Asssassin's Creed franchise.

The first episode, which will premiere on February 27, 2020, will introduce listeners to seventeenth-century England, which is going through a difficult financial moment. Aliyah Kahn, a murderer of today, meets Gavin Banks, and then experiences the memories of her ancestor, Omar Khalid. In his skin, he will witness how the murderer knows Newton himself.

At the moment, it has not been announced if there are plans to expand this fiction to other markets, in which case the fiction will have to be located and rewritten in other languages. Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the latest game in the saga available so far.
