Detroit: Become Human reveals its date on PC; new trailer

Quantic Dream publishes its most recent compatible title as exclusive to Epic Games Store.

Who said that the androids could not feel, that they were not aware of themselves and that they did not possess the ability to reason like human beings? Surely, the humans themselves said it, but that perception changes in Detroit: Become Human, one of the works of the French studio Quantic Dream. After passing through PlayStation, the agreement between both companies expired and the company has regained its status as an independent study. So, the game will be released in the Epic Games Store on December 12.

Quantic Dream decided to market all the games of the PlayStation platform on PC. Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls are now available exclusively for the Epic Games Store. Detroit: Become Human, which also releases a trailer, will be the last link before the developer focuses exclusively on her next title, which nothing is yet known.

A new era for Quantic Dream

Quantic Dream announced long ago that the Chinese company NeatEase had taken a small part of the company. According to David Cage, founder and director of all projects, this will not mean a loss of independence, but will allow the studio to finance new technologies that will open the doors to future projects.

"This investment will allow us to invest in future technology and video games that will prepare us for the next generation of platforms," said Cage, who also pointed out that they will do so "with the same ambition when it comes to creativity and innovation."

Detroit: Become Human tells the different stories of several characters set in a dystopian future in which some androids begin to consider their existence. Quantic Dream offers again its narrative adventure formula that gives the player the possibility to immerse themselves in a fiction science script that branches in different directions depending on the decisions we make.
