After leaving Arkane Studios in 2017, a study he founded, the developer returns to the industry with WolfEye.
Back and through the big door. Rafael Colantonio, founder of Arkane Studios, will present his new project at The Game Awards 2019. He will do it under a new label, as the creative has built a new studio in which he will act as creative director. This is WolfEye, a team that begins its journey together with another of Arkane's former members, Julien Roby, who will serve as CEO.
"I think of the past and I remember that Arkane was born with the intention of making video games, not money," said the developer. "And I think [the desire to form WolfEye] is the same desire to keep us creative and create something exciting for the players," he said in statements to Venture Beat. As for Roby, the reason he decided to devote himself to this is to "develop specific games" that he would like to play. "I felt that if I went back to video games, it would have to be something I wanted to do." I did not wish to return by returning.

And why WolfEye? In an interview with VG247, the director of Dishonored 2 reveals that the wolf is an amimal that they liked, since it moves in droves, but it can also be a lonely being. He has described it as an "efficient" creature.
