TFT: all about patch 9.23

The new update marks the return of the qualifiers, but other attributes of the game and its champions are also adjusted.

Master Tactics, better known as TFT, has been updated with a new patch that stands out for the incorporation of the qualifiers, which return after the premiere of set 2. After several patches especially focused on the settings, TeamFight Tactics corrects some errors that affected to the games. In this way, they have passed part of the power of the most powerful rank 1 champions to the three star champions of rank 2 and 3.

In addition, QiYi, Ossia and Melisma, the True Damage mini series of series 5, are also available.

Brand adjustments

  • Initial / total mana: 0/85 ⇒ 0/90.
  • Damage of ability: 300/450/600 ⇒ 250/325/400
  • Ignore Detonation rebounds: 5/6/20 ⇒ 5/7/20.

  • Probability of glacial stunning: 20% / 40% / 60% ⇒ 20% / 35% / 50%
  • Radiant: the total amount of life recovered now depends on the life of the champion who has been killed, not on that of the champions receiving healing.

general

  • General improvements to the movement of the melee units have been implemented.
  • The spooky invisible forest units no longer count in error for attribute bonuses.
  • It is now correctly considered that small PvE monsters are 1 star.
  • It is now correctly considered that the invocations are 0 stars.
  • It is now correctly considered that the dragon, the elder Dragon and the Crack Herald are 3 stars.
  • Remote berserkers (with Rapid Fire Cannon or Berserker Ax) now correctly inflict damage on a cone behind their target, instead of inflicting it on a cone in front of themselves.
  • Fixed some height errors in the Freljord sands. Objects and champions should no longer be buried.
  • The Electric attribute no longer benefits from ability power or affects Hextech Gunblade.

Rank 1 Champions

  • Diana's orbs can no longer hit multiple targets each.
  • The ability of Kog'Maw has been adjusted so that it fails much less.
  • Renekton's ability now correctly deals magic damage (the description will be updated in the next version).
  • The text of Vlad's healing has been corrected to show the correct amount.
  • The attack speed and duration of Zyra plants is already correct.
  • Zyra plants will no longer get into the bench from time to time.

Rank 2 Champions

  • The attack speed of Malzahar's subjects now corresponds to the attack speed ratio (resulting in a small reduction in the attack speed of his subjects).
  • Now the ability to Volibear also returns all the mana if he throws the ability and, despite not executing the target, he dies.

Rank 3 Champions

  • Azir no longer invokes his soldiers next to units that cannot be selected as targets, such as Zyra plants.
  • Dr. Mundo will not release his ability if there is nothing to hit within reach.
  • Qiyana will not release her ability if there is nothing to hit within reach.
  • It has been specified in the description of Veigar's ability that, when used, he instantly kills enemies with a lower level of stars than he does.
  • Now Veigar's ability executes units that are not champions if they have a lower level of stars than him.

Rank 4 Champions

  • Annie can no longer get mana when she invokes two Tibbers (thanks to the Magician Cap) and one of them dies.
  • Ashe's progression of three stars has been corrected to 250%, which was the right value.
  • Fixed a bug that made Ashe unable to activate Swordsman while her ability was active.
  • Fixed a bug that made it look like Olaf and Singed were frozen, although they were still attacking.

Rank 5 Champions

  • Champions can now take damage correctly from various clouds of poison created by different copies of Singed.
  • The Zed clones now correctly attribute the damage to Zed in the damage log.

Objects

  • Dragon Claw now also reduces the magical damage of effects other than abilities (objects, attributes, etc.).
  • The reduction of attack speed of Ice Gauntlet no longer lasts several rounds.
  • Now Hell's Embrace works correctly in Renekton, Jax, Rek'Sai, Vayne and in Nami Tidal Power attacks.
  • Spatula objects no longer duplicate the statistics of the other component.
  • Radiant talisman now correctly grants magical resistance.
