Marvel's Avengers will increase experience requirements to level up

Raising the character level in Marvel’s Avengers will take longer starting on March 18. Crystal Dynamics increases the expertise required to do so.

Marvel’s Avengers will receive changes to the experience requirements necessary to level up each hero. This has been assured by Crystal Dynamics through the official blog of the game. The study explains that they have found problems in the progression curve during these first months in the market.

Leveling up the character will take longer in Marvel’s Avengers

“The current experience curve is not really a curve. In most RPGs, the amount of experience required to level up increases as you gain levels in a curve, but our system is a straight line. This has led to pacing issues, such as skill points being rewarded too quickly, which can be confusing for novice players, ”the company explains. With the changes they seek that “each decision to invest in a skill is more meaningful.”

Therefore, starting on March 18, along with the Hawkeye content update and improvements for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, the amount of experience required to level up will be increased. They emphasize that it will be noticeable “around level 25” and that “it will take longer to reach level 50”, which is currently the maximum.

Changes only affect players who haven’t maxed out. If you have a hero at level 50, don’t worry, it will still be there. Nor will it affect the level of power, corresponding to the pieces of equipment that we add to our characters. We will only see that having the full range of skill points will require more playing time.

As we said, on the same day March 18 will come the Hawkeye campaign, which will continue the events seen with Kate Bishop. Clint will be the second hero added during the post-launch roadmap. Get to know the first data here.
