Live Gamers Show will support new professionals with The eSports Academy

The event is defined as an initiative designed for video game lovers, also with an international perspective.

Live Gamers Show, an online event that will take place in April, has announced that it will support new professionals in esports. It will do so through internal league days, which serve as qualification for The eSports Academy’s e-Squad scholarship program. According to the press release, the different students compete in an environment that tries to resemble that of professional events, in order to get used to their possible future as players.

It is no coincidence that these games are played in an environment that simulates the professional environment, since the intention is that they get used to exposure to the public, the spotlights and the rest of the elements that surround the games.

Scholarships at stake

The event has decided to participate and has “arranged an access” to connect to everything that happens during those qualifiers. The e-Squad Sunday format has internal league days, on whose rankings access to the school’s scholarship program depends. Thus, the sessions start at 4:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) and include sessions with Street Fighter V, Fortnite and Splatoon, all of them part of the professional circuit. They can be followed from the official school channel.

“Our goal is to train players in a comprehensive manner and within the framework of the values of traditional sport, thus positioning esports as a positive reference for society,” says José Ruiz, director of the school. On April 11, he will offer a talk to talk about education in esports. Under the title How an esports player is trained, the founder and CEO of e-Squad and The eSports Academy will be accompanied by other professionals, who will give a real vision about the present and the future of the sector.
