Amongst other things, the action-adventure is the most sold digital release of a Star Wars game in the first two weeks. In addition, it is now the best-selling Star Wars title of EA for PC within the first release window, as well as the best-rated Star Wars game of this generation of consoles.

The developer commented today:

"On behalf of Respawn and EA, we all thank you for your support of the studio and the team during the development and release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Telling a story in the Star Wars galaxy was a dream for all of us – and the response from the fans was incredible, "said Vince Zampella, Respawn's boss. "With the release of the game, the debut of The Mandalorian and the upcoming Star Wars movie premiere: The rise of Skywalker is just going to be a particularly exciting time for Star Wars fans!"

Licensee Disney / LucasArts adds:

"Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order demonstrates the fantastic potential for original storytelling in Star Wars games," said Sean Shoptaw, SVP, Games and Interactive Experiences, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. "The close collaboration between Respawn and Lucasfilm is a perfect example of how we can bring an experience to the fans that is authentic in the stories and worlds they love, while providing incredibly fun and innovative gameplay.
