Google signs several Assassin's Creed developers for Stadia

The team of the American giant will continue working to offer the best possible quality in its service; And yes, there will be more exclusive games.

Google has incorporated into its STADIA Games and Entertainment team several industry veterans who have been part of Ubisoft during several installments of Assassin's Creed. This is Sébastien Puel, Francois Pelland and Mathieu Leduc; Coincidentally, the study leader, Jade Raymond, worked during the beginnings of her elite career also in Ubisoft.

Sébastien Puel worked at Ubisoft for almost ten years; from Assassin's Creed 2 to Unity, in 2014. Francois Pelland was executive director at Ubisoft Quebec, where works such as Assassin's Creed Syndicate stand out; In the past he produced Assassin's Creed 3. Finally, Mathieu Leduc is an artist and has worked as an art director in the original Assassin's Creed and the two installments of Watch Dogs.

They have not transcended more details, only that they join the first party team of Google video games and that they will contribute to making possible that or those projects currently underway in the company for Google Stadia, which is already available in many countries although it has arrived with problems and without some of the promised functions at its launch.

More exclusive games every year: Jade Raymond's word

Last October, on the occasion of one of the pricing events at the launch of Google Stadia, Jade Raymond promised that every year there will be more exclusive games in the Google Stadia catalog. The head of STADIA Games and Entertainment in Canada assumed that the presence of exclusive games like GYLT or the recently announced Spitlings (this one of a temporary nature) can make a long-term difference to win fans.

“My role as a thinking head of STADIA Games and Entertainment is to build all the exclusive content for Stadia. We have a plan that involves adding a few firsty party studies and accumulating publishing partners to distribute exclusive content created by both independent studios and other external partners. (…) There will be exclusives every year, and more and more every year. ”

As of December, not only will the members of Stadia Pro (the subscription of 9.99 euros per month) Destiny 2 and Samurai Shodown be distributed for free, but also Tomb Raider (2013) and Farming Simulator 19.
