Halo 3 completed on Legendary difficulty using a Guitar Hero guitar

A YouTube user achieves the feat of finishing the third installment on the maximum difficulty over a month and more than 250 accumulated deaths.

Finishing Halo 3 on Legendary difficulty is something really heroic, but doing it with a Guitar Hero guitar is surely one of the great feats we've seen in video games in recent years. This is what the YouTube user Super Louis 64 has achieved, adapting the buttons of the peculiar peripheral to the requirements of a shooter and being used for a month in this deed.

During these 30 days, Super Louis 64 accumulated a total of 252 deaths, showing in this 22-minute video some of the best moments of his journey to Halo 3. As we said, he used a specific adapter to turn the guitar buttons into something more appropriate to the game of Bungie, moving left and right with the green and red buttons on the neck of the guitar, respectively, jumping with yellow and shooting with blue.

"The hardest part of the tour was playing fps without a joystick," wrote our protagonist on Reddit, noting that it was virtually impossible to shoot and aim at the same time. "It was a bit of a challenge because I haven't played Halo 3 for almost a decade. I saw a tweet this year from someone joking about his roommate playing Halo 3 with a guitar, and he just wanted to know if it was possible."

Halo 3 and the rest of deliveries, soon on PC

This feat comes at a time for the franchise when PC users are about to be able to enjoy all their games, including Halo: Reach, which will be next day 3 when available in compatible. In addition, this, which was the last installment of the saga by Bungie, will be available from the first day on Xbox Game Pass for PC.
