While this caused a stir over the recent offer Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition had, Google's return policy is clear. To avoid confusion and that you know what rights you have to acquire a title in the service, we tell you how to return a game in Stadia and what margin exists.
How to return a game on Google Stadia
The first thing you should know is that all your profile settings have to be made through the mobile application or in Chrome browsers. In the upper right, right in your profile picture, you can access the service options, both streaming performance and account settings. You must choose the third tab: “purchases”.
There will appear the current subscriptions and all purchases made in Stadia. Below, in the transaction history, you can choose the title you want to return. Once inside, simply choose the "request a refund" option, above "receive assistance."
The current Google Stadia policy specifies that you can qualify for a refund as long as you have played less than two hours and it is within the first 14 calendar days from the moment of acquisition.
If you meet both requirements, the technical assistance team will begin “investigating” your case to clarify whether the ruling will be in your favor. Of course, that message will be a mere technicality; You will get your refund within 24 hours.
The money will be refunded in the original payment method between 3 to 7 days, depending on the bank entity. In the end, this flexibility makes buying a game serve as a small demonstration. If it does not convince you, you return it and go. No commitments
