Persona 5 Royal: release date and all editions

The improved version of the Atlus RPG laureate, developed by P Studio, will hit the market in two different editions.

Countdown to the launch of Persona 5 Royal, the expanded version of the fifth installment of the Atlus game, designed by P Studio. We already knew that the developer was going to offer new information, but it was still unclear exactly what was going to be revealed. As the stopwatch progressed, the filtering of the launch date has become official: it will go on sale on March 31, 2020 in Spain.

Koch Media, the distributor of the video game in Spain, has announced that this exclusive title for PlayStation 4 will be marketed in several different editions, each with extra objects. At the moment, it has not been specified whether the video game will be published in English, as it has been until now, or if it will receive a location in Spanish. The voices, however, are confirmed, as we can choose between dubbing in English or Japanese. Then you can watch the new trailer:

The editions of Persona 5 Royal

The game will be presented in two editions. The first one, called Release Edition, will have a recommended price of 59.99 euros. It will include a metal case and a download code that will give us a dynamic theme. The Phantom Thieves edition will be sold at a price of 89.99 euros and will incorporate the following:

Official Joker mask (includes a stand)

Collector's box

Book of illustrations

Soundtrack

Steelbook limited edition case

Both editions are now available for reservation. What awaits us in this new version? For now, 30% of unpublished content that will allow us to deepen the mechanics of the game, as explained by Daiki Ito, the game's durector, who also confirmed new final bosses and a new endgame. They change we assume the opening and the ending, the battle theme, a new zone, enemies, support for PlayStation Pro and a long etcetera are added.
