Star Wars: Battlefront 2 allows you to play as The Mandalorian thanks to a mod

After Baby Yoda, it is the turn of the Mandalorian, who uses Boba Fett as a base, but retains his skills.

The Mandalorian, the new Disney Plus series based on Star Wars, has been successfully released in the United States. Although the service has not debuted in Europe, fiction has been cast on social networks thanks, above all, to Baby Yoda, the phenomenon of the moment. In the absence of something official, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 already allows you to play as the Mandalorian, as the community has been responsible for creating a new mod, as in the case of the Yoda master miniature version.

To make the mod, available in Nexus Mods, Claymaver 2000 has used Boba Fett as a mold. What he has done has been to retexturize the armor and equipment, while replacing the jetpack with a rifle. It is, however, a cosmetic change, so all jetpack skills continue to function normally. Therefore, it is possible to use it in multiplayer mode.

Official content of Episode IX

So far, EA DICE has not added any content related to The Mandalorian series. As they comment on PC Gamer, some players have suggested the possibility of modders employing another character as a base, see Han Solo or Lando, which according to these users are closer to the skills that the Mandalorian shows in the series. Claymaver2000 has said that it is a possibility, but for the moment it will focus on finishing the mod.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is available on PC, Xbox One and PS4. The game went on sale in 2017, and despite its controversial beginnings, the title has continued to be updated with new material throughout all these months. Electronic Arts has confirmed that it will receive content from Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.

Jedi Star Wars: Fallen Order, the new Respawn Entertainment production, went on sale on November 15. The work of the creators of Titanfall 2, which premiered with commercial success, chronicles the years after the fall of the Jedi Order.
