Recreate P.T., the Silent Hills demo canceled, with LEGO pieces

A fan recreates the popular P.T. aisle, the playable demo of the Silent Hills that was to be run by Hideo Kojima along with Guilermo del Toro.

More than four years have passed since Hideo Kojima stepped on the Gamescom 2015 stage to present a strange playable demo called P.T., something completely different from what the creative Japanese had accustomed us to. That night the game went viral, due to its intricate puzzles and the terrifying of its proposal, but more when it was known what it was really: nothing less than a demo of what would be the return of Silent Hill, with Kojima in the direction, along with the support of Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and actor Norman Reedus, with whom he also wanted to count on the recent Death Stranding. In spite of everything, fans still remember with affection both that demo and the Silent Hill franchise itself.

And it is that the YouTube user Cremekoek has recreated the L-shaped hall with LEGO pieces, which is the only stage where P.T. is developed, directly using the sound effects of the game itself and creating a somewhat peculiar … Lisa. There are some winks to Death Stranding, as we also see in the photographs of the paintings in which both Fragile, one of the game's characters, such as Sam Porter Bridges, his own protagonist, appear.

Cremekoek has recorded the video using a GoPro Hero 4, and if we take a look at its list of uploaded videos we see other curious recreations, such as one of the most iconic scenes of the recent Joker movie, as well as other popular horror films like Poltergeist, Nightmare on Elm Street or The Shining.

The end of Silent Hill?

Meanwhile, all we have about Silent Hill in recent years are either fan creations, or slot machines run by Konami. The Japanese company has not seemed interested in bringing back one of its most popular franchises in the last 25 years, except to occupy the Japanese gambling halls.
