Silent Hill finally buried? Konami drops domain

Playfront

Konami apparently has no interest in the Silent Hill franchise and has now dropped the official webdomain to the game. If you are interested in it, you can buy it for a rather proud sum.

The last attempt with the Silent Hill franchise was undertaken together with Hideo Kojima, which after the disputes but in the sand was. After that, the franchise finally disappeared completely in the sinking, even if there were recent reports about a VR project. The fact that one gives up the domain for the game, speaks again against it, if it concerns no mistake or a failure. Usually, however, domains are automatically renewed and must otherwise be deliberately terminated.

If you want, you can buy them for currently US $ 9835, although it is still not certain that Konami will not make any legal claims as a trademark owner. At the moment, however, one does not seem to be very interested in it, even if the brand protection was only renewed in August. This is usually routine, however, to avoid the final loss.

Whether it ever comes back to a Silent Hill game, is currently so completely unclear.
