eFootball PES 2020 LITE, the free mode, now available

The free-to-play version of the Konami football simulator is released on all major platforms.

Konami has announced that players will be able to download eFootball PES 2020 LITE from this precise moment. The free-to-play version of the popular Japanese company soccer title is now online on Xbox One and PC Steam. However, PlayStation 4 users will have to wait a few more hours to try the free version of PES 2020. In the case of the Sony console, it will be available from December 11.

According to the press release sent by Konami, eFootball PES 2020 LITE maintains the experience of the original game, so it introduces all the improvements of the paid version. This includes, for example, the subtle dribble, drawn from the movements of former FC Barcelona midfielder Andrés Iniesta.

Licenses and various game modes, intact

On the other hand, the game also keeps the licenses, so we can enjoy sets like FC Barcelona, Manchester United, FC Bayern or Juventus. This last club is licensed exclusively in PES. On the other hand, it will be possible to participate in both myClub and Matchday, play online games against those who have the full version, be part of limited competitive events and enjoy some electronic sports experiences.

Therefore, matches in local and cooperative mode will be available in eFootball PES 2020 LITE, while it will also be possible to access eFootball.Open, an esports tournament in which all players will have the opportunity to participate. The Japanese company has explained that those interested will have to use the Matchday mode to choose their favorite club during the registration period, in order to then compete with that same set.
