The new Christmas season is loaded with free content, which highlights the presence of five new selectable characters.
Activision and Beenox have announced that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will receive the expected new Christmas season on December 12. Players of the popular driving title, available on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, will be able to access the Winter Festival Grand Prix for free during the next few weeks and access five new selectable characters.
Five new characters, skins and a new circuit: Gingerbread Joyride
In the absence of knowing how the game will be supported from 2020, the current Neon Circus Grand Prix will end to give way to a total of five new characters, all of them unlockable if we reach the necessary points in the challenges and challenges of the season: Rilla Roo , which we can remember from Crash Bash; Yaya Panda, whose presence goes back to Crash Nitro Kart 2 of mobile devices; Moose Hasty and, as demanded by many community players, the arrival of the game's presenters, the duo Chick and Stew.
But there is more. On the occasion of the close arrival of Christmas, the gamers will be able to claim new aesthetic contents – which do not directly affect the gameplay – for characters such as Spyro, which was one of the rewards of the previous season, Tawna, Yaya, Nash, Crash Bandicoot and Coco, with their corresponding aesthetic changes in their base karts. On the other hand, among the rewards we will also have new vehicles and suits; to highlight, Guardian Spyro, an ice skin of the purple dragon.
The jewel in the crown is the new circuit, Gingerbread Joyride, which will also join the list of selectable circuits at no additional cost. As we see, it has Christmas and sweet motifs, with the presence of cakes and a lot of cream. Its name is no accident: the path is a gingerbread cookie.
