The battle royale of Respawn Entertainment introduces a new game mode, cosmetic objects and a double experience weekend.
The Christmas holidays are coming and the characters of many video games dress for the occasion with the aim of participating in temporary events. One of them is Mirage holofest cookies, which arrives at Apex Legends with numerous contents, available to all players. Among other elements, a limited time game mode has been introduced, as well as cosmetic objects that we can use, for example, to give our weapons a new look.
The Hibernal Express mode invites us to capture the End of the World train. A total of three platoons must chase the vehicle, which looks decorated according to these dates and moves from station to station. Even so, in this mode, the train route reduces its radius, so you'll never be too far away.
In this mode each legend has a predetermined and personalized arsenal, so you will not need to loot anything. In addition, the eliminated players will come back to life in all rounds; It will also be possible to select other legends in the middle of the game. In the update of the website, it is pointed out that the user will have the possibility to experiment with different platoons. The purpose will be, in any case, to obtain three captures. The arsenals will change daily, they report in the statement. Success also guarantees the acquisition of exclusive cosmetics, which includes two skins of legendary weapons.
A new combat zone
Mirage has dressed for Christmas. Respawn Entertainment promises players to “discover a new face of Mirage”. We will have the possibility of taking a bath in the hot tub or dancing on the track, but we will need the weapons to fight in this new combat zone. There will be 24 thematic cosmetic elements of limited time. They will be available by direct purchase (Apex coins or manufacturing metals) and in Apex packs. If you manage to unlock them all, you will get a Pathfinder relic for free.
Apex Legends is a free-to-play available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The title will offer a double experience weekend, from 10:00 PST (19:00 CET) on December 13 to 10:00 PST (19:00 CET) on December 16.
