Sons of the Forest, this is the sequel to the terrifying The Forest

One of the announcements of The Game Awards 2019 has been the continuation of the game of fear and survival of Endnight Games; A new nightmare in the forest.

Another of the world premiere with which Geoff Keighley entertained the gala of The Game Awards 2019 was Sons of the Forest, a new game of Endnight Games that will act as a sequel to the previous title of the studio, the terrifying The Forest (2014) . For now there are no platforms (the previous one only came out on PC and PlayStation 4), no confirmed release date and all we know about the project is how much we can see in its first trailer:

The Forest was a survival game that proposed us to survive in a small forest full of mutants and all kinds of terrifying creatures. In it we could create shelters and weapons with which to protect ourselves, not only from monsters but also from the forest itself. Well received by critics and public (to show its 8.3 in Metacritic), the video of Sons of the Forest has many similarities with the original. From the plane crash with which it all begins until the hiking days with the ax on his shoulder and the types of locals so unfriendly with whom we are going to find, that they seemed taken from any John Carpenter movie. It would be worth having patience and expecting a long development if we consider that, although The Forest came out in 2014, it did so in Early Access and did not receive its final version until 2018.

Not only have we been scared tonight during the awards gala. There has been room for much more, such as the new Microsoft console. You have to forget about Project Scarlett and call it by its final name, Xbox Series X. Planned for Christmas 2020, Microsoft intends to lead the sector again in terms of power and performance, taking into account the first technical details of the platform shared by Phil Spencer himself, head of the Xbox brand. The graphic jump seems considerable, more if we consider that the trailer of another of the evening's surprises, the shocking Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, has been captured with the game's own engine running on the console in real time. A jump that will not hurt the Xbox Series X to run Sons of the Forest, whose appearance also enters the eyes.
