SEGA confirms the size of Isezaki Ijincho, the playable area that Yakuza will have: Like a Dragon. Nine neighborhoods live their territory.

SEGA has revealed the complete playable map available in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the new stage of the franchise in 2020. As we have learned, Isezaki Ijincho will be three times the size of Kamurocho, the district that toured Kazuma Kiryu during so many adventures . The best and worst of Yokohama meets here.

The playable portion is divided into nine different neighborhoods, as different from each other as unique. It highlights the influence of the different communities that live, such as Chinatown and Korea Town, two of the most influential points of the street gangs that swarm the city. On the other hand, Hamakita Park, a popular place among residents for its contact with the sea, perfect for disconnecting. There we will find the Dragon Kart tournament, one of the main minigames of this installment.

Emphasis has also been placed on two new faces that Kasuga will encounter throughout his journey. On the one hand we have Hamako, the manager of a small restaurant that helps the most disadvantaged women give them a chance in life. In the other we find Nonomiya, the only administrator of a hostess hotel, the Otohime Land. He is known for his hardness with the template, so his reputation with women is on the floor.

Next we will reveal the presence of certain characters that can be seen as potential revelations. If you do not want to know them, we recommend that you stop reading from this point.

According to Toshiro Nagoshi, general director of the IP, during the last SEGA Nama program, other characters such as Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima and Daigo Dojima will also be present in Yakuza: Like a Dragon in some way. "The amount of time that each of them will appear on the screen is slightly different," he says, so the weight they will have on the story will also be presumably different from each other.
