Red Dead Redemption 2: photo mode now available on PS4; Xbox One will arrive in January

The photo mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, exclusive so far on PC, is now available on PS4. It will arrive on Xbox One next January.

Photo mode is now available in the Red Dead Redemption 2 version for PS4. This has been confirmed by Rockstar through the notes of patch 1.15, which adds a new role for the multiplayer section: Moonshiners.

In this way the mode, initially exclusive of its recent arrival on PC, disembarks on the console without any restrictions. You can move the camera freely up to a maximum of 20 meters with respect to the character, add filters, adjust the focal length, and more. You can read our final impressions of your transfer to compatible in this link.

Xbox One users will have to wait a little longer. It will not be until January 21 when the function disembarks there. Photo mode will only work in the single-player adventure; Red Dead Online will not enjoy it. The following capture is a sample of what can be achieved with the edition of the game itself.

A balloon to dominate them all

Now, we will have another option to visualize the beautiful places from the air, since a new mod is already available that allows us to ascend to the clouds, this time by means of an aerostatic balloon.

Krank has been in charge of making this new possibility available to players. The content, already available in Nexus Mods, offers us the panoramic view of the Wild West. It can be installed by entering the files in the main directory of the game, as long as you have Script Hook RDR2 installed. Of course, as we always warned, it is important to remember to disable the mod when you are playing in the multiplayer. Although Rockstar Games has given its approval to mods in Story Mode, it expels anyone who uses them in its online form.

Recently we have been able to chat face to face with Roger Clark, who is behind the interpretation of Arthur Morgan. You can read the complete interview here.
