All kinds of content and updates of PC and console versions are missing, and the Gearbox game is limited to 30 images per second.
The start of Google Stadia, the streaming gaming platform, is being somewhat bumpy. The verdict of the critic was unanimous a few weeks ago, admitting the promise of technology and how green it is today. A verdict that ratifies the launch of Borderlands 3 on the platform, which occurred this week amid a relentless swell of problems. Not only does it land a month late, but it also makes it limited to 30 images per second if played in 4K and with an old version of the game, which only has the updates and fixes released by Gearbox until October 24. The title lacks how much has been added and improved in the last two months for PCs and consoles.
"We expect all versions to go hand in hand in early 2020," Gearbox explains on the official website. In it, the company also ensures that "soon" they will add the dissonant content, which includes "the Assault on the Maliwan clandestine center, the Chaos 4 difficulty, the boss's specific loot set and more room for the bank." In order to compensate for the current gaps in this version, the developer offers the game at a reduced price in the Google Stadia store.
What about the first expansion?
Implicit consequence of the narrative, the first payment DLC of the game, The Moxxi coup to Jackpot el Guapo, which leaves this December 19 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, is delayed at the beginning of 2020 in Google Stadia, to a date yet to be determined. The Google service ensures, of course, that once the updates and expansion arrive we will not have to install or expect anything, which will be done automatically and without interrupting the game of the players. The DLC is set in a casino that competes in ego with the characters that give it its name and includes new side missions, weapons, legendary equipment, a larger collection of cosmetics, camera heads and skins, beaded weapons, a device skin ECHO and even more gestures.
