Destiny 2: Dawn of Dawn event started

In line with Christmas there is also a themed event in ‘Destiny 2’, which is now available. With the cold weather, Eva Levante returns to the tower.

When you open it is about staying warm, so you have to bake cookies for your favorite (and not so popular) traders in our solar system. All of Eva’s ingredients and cookies from last year’s event are returning. A few new ingredients and recipes have also been added and the baking process improved. For every batch of cookies you deliver, you will receive progress for raids and rewards for a festive atmosphere.

This year Eva also has a new MP for you to bake: the cold front. If you missed the perfect shot for the Avalanche machine gun last year, you now have a new chance. You can earn both weapons throughout the event.

When the event starts, a new hotfix is available, which Bungie lists below:

COMBAT SYSTEMS

  • Fixed a bug where dynamo mods were giving more super energy than expected
  • Fixed a bug where you could do more damage than you would when switching between handguns with explosive projectiles
  • There is no longer a per tap on the fixed rolls of Pyroclastic Flow
  • Fixed a bug where the Arc Seekers of Symmetry inadvertently made Unstoppable Champions falter
    • Note: This perk is intended for an exotic weapon that will appear later in the season
  • Fixed a bug where finishers could push bosses out of the map and do nonsense

ACTIVITIES

  • Fixed a bug where you would get a HONEYDEW error when trying to start Forsaken Baron adventures

PREMIUMS

  • Resonance tribes, escalation log chests, and other affected rewards are now correctly awarded
  • Fixed a bug where some sundial rewards could be infused without having to disassemble the item

EVERVERSUM

  • Fixed a bug where the Sun Vanquisher Titan Armor ornament pack could be purchased at full price even if you owned items from it
