Sony recently released a new PS4 firmware, which is now followed by a small update.

As usual, there will be no major changes, which is why the changelog only speaks of various optimizations in terms of performance.

It only says:

• This system software update improves system performance.

The new firmware naturally includes all the features of the previous update, including the larger group chats, remote play and much more. Completely new features are expected next year with version 8.00.

The new PS4 firmware 7.02 can either be downloaded via the automatic download or later on the support pages of PlayStation and installed manually. The first method is of course more convenient.
