PUBG is dyed red with its new update and patch

The Christmas event of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (update 5.3) promises a lot of blood splatter that stains everything red, on PC.

PUBG has just received the 5.3 update on PC, something that does not mean much in terms of content and features, but it does bring some bloody and Christmas news. In the playable this means that finally the game receives a system that improves the quality of blood splatters. Beyond the graphic aspect, this has a logistical advantage. For example, if we shoot other players in the head or neck, we will receive a red spray response on the screen that we would not get with a shot to the body. Thus, we can ensure that we have hit the shot in a critical area. It is an update that is currently present on PC and we do not know when it will reach consoles and mobile devices.

Details of PUBG Patch 5.3

In addition to the mentioned tactical advantage, blood splatters will also stain floors and walls, something that will indicate the passage of other players in the area. Beyond the blood, PUBG also adds the option to load our game settings in the cloud, so we can download it whenever we are on a PC. Even so, the graphics and inventory settings will not be transferred. The system of boxes and keys has also been updated. We will no longer get closed boxes if we use BP to buy them. Therefore, PUBG Corp has adjusted the fall rates accordingly.

With these updates, the team behind PUBG makes sure to keep the title updated, even if they lost the race against Fortnite a long time ago. As for the Epic Games title, it presents its own version of Christmas with the 2019 Winter Festival, in which we can find various gifts and a recent collaboration with Star Wars, which brings characteristic elements of the saga to the game, such as the Millenium Falcon.
