Hardly founded, the Typhoon Studios and makers behind Journey to the Savage Planet, were bought out by Google, who will soon publish their first project together with 505 games.

The Typhoon Studios were only launched in 2017 by former Assassin's Creed and Far Cry creative director Alex Hutchinson. After Journey to the Savage Planet, however, you will only develop exclusively for Google Stadia.

Whether Journey to the Savage Planet will also appear for Google Stadia is still unclear. So far, the game has not been announced for the streaming platform. It is also not certain whether the name Typhoon Studios will remain or will be fully integrated into the Stadia Games and Entertainment Division, under which Google develops its games.

Journey to the Savage Planet will be released on January 28, 2020.
