Final Fantasy VII Remake: Shiva shows his skills in two images

The new production of Square Enix will go on sale on March 3, 2020, at the moment only on PS4, although the exclusive is one year.

The invocations will not work the same as in the original, but Final Fantasy VII Remake will have the presence of these powerful entities. Shiva, one of the most iconic creatures in the saga, will be one of the summons available in the video game. Taking advantage of the winter season, Square Enix wanted to share two catches of the ice sovereign, who executes her cold skills.

As usual, the official Twitter account of the video game has been responsible for presenting the character. "We are celebrating the first day of winter with a sample of Shiva's ice skills," they say in the tweet. “This ice queen can conjugate gigantic glaciers to kill your enemies. He will eliminate them with his classic (skill) Diamond Powder. ”

How do invocations work in the remake?

In Final Fantasy VII Remake, invocations have been raised in a manner similar to those in Final Fantasy XII. That means that when we summon these creatures, it does not happen as in the classic, that the invocation executed a single technique and left the battlefield below. On this occasion, he remains for a limited time with the group and fights autonomously. Of course, the player has some control over the character, because when the right circumstances occur, he has the opportunity to activate the special ability of the invocation.

Unlike the original game, the reimagined version introduces changes at the playable level, which affects combat, which is no longer in turns. There is, however, the Classic Mode option, which automates certain elements to emulate the playable style of the classic. For the rest, it is a video game more focused on action, which does not lose, anyway, its strategic facet.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is in development for PS4. Its first episode will go on sale next March 3, 2020. The exclusivity in the Sony machine is limited to one year, so that after that period, the title may be marketed on any other market platform.
