Niantic has announced that the Augmented Reality (Shared RA) mode of Pokémon GO is now ready and ready to work on all devices with an iOS or Android operating system. The mobile title of the creators of Harry Potter Wizards Unite also gives players the chance to take pictures with other friends and their creatures.

The developer has published the information through the official Pokémon GO account on Twitter: “The RA Shared experience has been completed. It is already available for Coaches level 2 or higher. Celebrate this moment with (the hashtag) #Gosnapshot of you, your partner, your friends and your colleagues, ”they explain in the tweet.

Tutorial: how to activate Shared RA Mode

In order to explain how this new option works, Niantic has distributed a video step by step, which you can see on these lines. The main requirement, as we said, is that it is necessary to have reached at least Level 2 Coach. Once this is verified, just do the following:

  • Find a flat surface.
  • Press the AR icon of your partner profile.
  • Create a group by choosing the option “Create a QR code group”.
  • By scanning your QR code, 2 up to two friends can participate in the family photo. Then press "Let's go."
  • Use the device in an upright position and have all your friends point at a specific object.
  • Together, walk around the object with a 180º movement.
  • Some marks will appear when correctly synchronized.
  • When the marks appear on the screen, press on the screen so that the Pokémon make an appearance.
  • Then, take the photos you want!

    • According to the developers, "the RA Shared mode is a significant social experience in the real world, by allowing up to three Trainers to put their Pokémon in the same place and take a picture together." The team wants "functions like this to enrich the lives of the Coaches and discover many more places with their peers."
