Sony and Titan Comics have surprisingly announced a new comic story for 'Horizon: Zero Dawn', which is believed to tell a kind of prequel part 2 story.
Horizon: Zero Dawn 2 has not yet been officially announced, but there have been several indications in the past few weeks that guerrilla games are actually working on it. If you read the excerpt from the new comic, it could well pave the basis for another game.
In this it says:
“Discover a distant future on earth full of epic natural beauty, where impressive machines are the dominant species. Talanah, Sunhawk from Hunters Lodge, is trying to make sense after Aloy, her trusted friend, has disappeared. When a mysterious new threat emerges in the wild, she returns to her roots as a hunter to conquer her and learn that a whole new generation of mechanized killers is roaming the country. ”
At the moment, of course, this is pure speculation as to whether you are actually laying the story for a second part of the RPG. Time will tell here what guerrilla games are currently working on. You should learn more about this in the coming year and with the unveiling of the PS5.
