Pokémon returns twice with two games for Facebook Gaming

While Pokémon Tower Battle is available worldwide, Pokémon Medallion can only be played in the Asia-Pacific regions.

The Pokémon Company has announced the two games that will be added to the Facebook Gaming catalog. They will not do it in all places of the globe, because only Pokémon Tower Battle, one of the titles announced, will be available worldwide. This video game, developed by Bombay Play, is, according to its description, "a unique approach to the Pokémon franchise." The objective of the title is to stack the creatures to create the tallest tower.

"As players discover, hunt and raise the level of rare Pokémon, they can compete in real time against friends or in a world rankings," Facebook said in a press release. "It may seem like a simple puzzle based on physics at first, but strategic decisions about how and where they position their Pokémon will determine who is the true master of tower battles."

No chance to try it outside of Asia

Pokémon Medallion Battle is defined as "a strategic digital card game", which has been developed by GCTurbo. Unlike Tower Battle, this product can only be consumed in the Asia-Pacific region. "Coaches collect, fight and evolve their Pokémon in their medallion form," they comment. “They embark on a trip with their classmates with the aim of winning gym medals and completing their Pokédex. Players can also find new Pokémon – which are introduced every month – to create even better teams. ”

Both videogames can be found on Facebook Gaming, the platform dedicated to social network videogames. The Pokémon Company, meanwhile, has two other great products on the market: on the one hand, Pokémon GO, which has just been updated with Adventures with your partner. This functionality opens the doors for us to walk with our creature. On the other hand, Pokémon Sword and Shield is the last great work of GameFreak, a traditional RPG with all the usual ingredients of the saga.
