New Sprite Umbrellas Drop for Free
The update lets players earn the Sprite Umbrellas—the Fire, Water, and Air variants—without spending real money. Unlocking these iconic items now requires mastering the Sprite Mastery system rather than purchasing them.
Air Sprite Shade Is the First Accessible Reward
At present, only the Air Sprite Shade Umbrella can be claimed via the Sprite Mastery track. Completing 21 Sprite levels grants access to the shade, while the Fire and Water versions will arrive later and will demand even higher mastery thresholds.
Grinding Strategy for Sprite Mastery
To attain the necessary Sprite levels, players should focus on the teleportation network spread across the map’s five secret tunnels. Each chest or ammo crate inside these passages awards 75 Sprite‑point toward mastery. Traversing the full chain of teleporters can accumulate enough points to reach level 5 before extraction.
- Exploit every teleport location on the chart to locate high‑density chest clusters.
- Acquire Quack Snacks for instant level‑up boosts.
- Participate in Fortnite Sprite Events, especially Mastery Mondays, to apply modifiers that accelerate Sprite progress.
Remember, reaching level 5 alone does not qualify a Sprite for extraction; players must visit an Extraction Site or use a Portable Extractor to confirm mastery and obtain the umbrella.
