Ultron skins hover freely because NetEase Games is distributing a new free costume, the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” Ultron outfit, solely through a non‑event PvE run in Marvel Rivals.
Unlocking the Free Ultron Costume
The first step is to finish the Avengers: Age of Ultron PvE mode on normal difficulty. Completing the match unlocks the hard difficulty, which the game starts with locked. Selecting hard and defeating Ultron and his army of Sentry bots again will reward the free Ultron costume.
Avengers: Age of Ultron PvE Mode Breakdown
In this third installment of the PvE series, players can pick any of the seven marquee Avengers. They must battle through eleven distinct phases, each featuring successive waves of Sentry bots. To finish the mode, Ultron must be defeated twice, adding a layer of challenge that tests both strategy and skill.

- As Captain America, clear hard: “Proof of Humanity” Title
- As Hawkeye, clear hard: “Unerring Aim” Title
- As Black Widow, clear hard: “Lethal Shadow” Title
- As Iron Man, clear hard: “Unmaker of Ultron” Title
- As Scarlet Witch, clear hard: “Core Crusher” Title
The PvE mode will conclude on 27 August 2026 at 9 AM UTC; thereafter no further progress can be made.
