2020 is about to start and Niantic and The Pokémon Company will start the year bringing a variety of activities to Pokémon Go. They have already given us some clues about what we can see in the game this January, 2020, so below we detail them as long as you mark some special days on the calendar. In addition, we remember that the game developers also recently revealed the operation of the new functionality of the game: "Adventures with your partner".
The Pokémon Go events in January 2020
The first thing we should know is that Niantic will bring a new line of Special Investigations missions that revolve around Team Rocket. As with the December mission, this event will culminate in a battle with Team Rocket boss Giovanni. If we manage to defeat him, we will have the opportunity to capture another legendary Pokémon: Dark Moltres.
A new month also means a new batch of Field Research tasks to complete. On this occasion we will find special Lapras with Ice Ridge or Ice Ray. Specifically, it will be available from Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 10 p.m. until Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10 p.m. (CET).
In addition to this, the event "Eclosionatón de Sincroaventura" will return from January 2 to 16.
