Animal Crossing: New Horizons reveals its cover, official website and new images

The game already has a television spot for Japan. The play aims to be one of the best selling video games of 2020 on Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo has started 2020 making it clear which is its main video game for Nintendo Switch in this first semester: Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The Japanese company, shortly after the grapes were eaten in Spain, published a new television spot where Canela and other well-known characters from the saga presented what will be this new iteration of the series set on a desert island.

But that is not all. Shortly after the publication, the official Animal Crossing: New Horizons website was inaugurated, which we can access through this link. As we see, the portal is only for Japan, although the western website will be enabled in the next dates. This website includes new images of the game and the official art of, at least, what will be the cover of the title in physical format in Japan, whose official illustration is also hosted in high resolution.

According to portals such as Famitsu, the magazine with the highest volume of circulation in Japan and one of the main focuses when making public surveys, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the most anticipated games in the country.

After the overwhelming success of the previous installment for Nintendo 3DS, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which exceeded 12.36 million units worldwide, it is expected that this title is above those figures, as has happened with sagas like Mario in his 3D aspect, Super Smash Bros. or Splatoon, who have surpassed in Switch the records of previous works of their respective series.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons, also in Latin Spanish

It should be said that, as confirmed this past December, the game will arrive in Latin Spanish, making it easier for the more than 600 million inhabitants of Latin American culture to read all the texts of the title adapted to their culture, including with elements of Mexican folklore in the form of content. Therefore, idiomatic and native expressions of countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela or Chile will be present for those who so wish. It is the first Animal Crossing game that will arrive in Latin America located in its linguistic variant; Until now it had always been in Spanish.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons will arrive exclusively for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020. You can read here all the latest news of the game.
