Felix Rosenqvist will host a free celebration in Värnamo on Dec. 5 to honor his 2026 Indy 500 win.
The gathering follows his 0.0233‑second edge over Team Penske’s David Malukas – the riskiest finish in championship history.
Organizers – Värnamo Näringsliv, City, and Municipality – have opened central streets to families, fans and visitors.
Program highlights stage tributes, motorsport demos, live music, and interviews with IndyCar officials.
“Celebrating an Indy 500 victory in my hometown feels surreal – a true pinch‑me moment,” Rosenqvist said.
He added, “It will be unforgettable to see friends, family and the Värnamo community in December.”
Staffan Svensson of the Municipality said the driver’s success injects pride and unity into the town.
Anki Hansson stressed that the joint effort showcases Värnamo’s community spirit and welcomes visitors to experience local heritage.
Further details on dates, guests, and attractions will be released closer to the event.
The celebration will maintain a relaxed, all‑ages atmosphere, reflecting Rosenqvist’s desire to share his achievement with anyone who can, and will, join.
