Guenther Steiner, former Haas Formula 1 chief, announced Agius’ signing as part of a strategic reshuffle designed to meet the championship’s Australian rider requirement following Jack Miller’s shift to Superbike.
From European champion to Moto2 podium star
The 20‑year‑old’s four‑year trajectory saw him finish runner‑up in the 2022 Moto2 European series, claim that title in 2023, and step into the world Moto2 championship in 2024, scoring his first podium.
