Epic Games has rolled out a suite of new reward tiers that activate every time players finish three of the nine available birthday quests during the event, which runs until September 30, 2026.
Quest Mechanics in the Birthday Event
Players can take on the nine challenges in any order, but completing all of them in the original (OG) mode is recommended to avoid repetitive mode switches. Reward Progression and Gears
Collecting 3 quests unlocks the Choco‑9 Cake back‑bling, 6 quests unlock the Cake Crusher pickaxe, and 9 quests unlock the FNCS Sentry back‑bling. The sprite, called the Birthday Sprite, must be redeemed via Lobby Hack Codes after the event ends.
Complete Quest List
Each quest contains a simple objective that can be performed in any mode, though OG is most straightforward for all nine.
- Dance (1): Use any emote from the in‑game wheel during a match. Reward: 5 000 XP.
- Aim Down Sights (3): Eliminate three opponents while aiming down sights. Reward: 5 000 XP.
- Throw Birthday Presents (3): Find three birthday presents in floor loot or chests, then throw them. Reward: 5 000 XP and the Choco‑9 Cake.
- Eat Birthday Cake Slices (4): Locate and eat four slices of cake from named locations. Reward: 5 000 XP.
- Deploy Balloons (5): Find and deploy five balloons. Reward: 5 000 XP.
- Headshots (6): Record six headshots with any weapon. Reward: 5 000 XP and, after 6 quests, the Cake Crusher.
- Search Containers (7): Search seven containers across battle variants. Reward: 5 000 XP.
- Visit POIs (8): Visit eight different named locations. Reward: 5 000 XP.
- Wish the Bus Driver Happy Birthday (9): Thank the bus driver nine times before disembarking. Reward: 5 000 XP and the FNCS Sentry.
Players who finish all nine quests will trigger the final milestone and receive the baton of the most significant birthday collectible.
Background and Extra Notes
The event not only offers cosmetic goodies; the XP incentives also give players a leg up on the current season’s Battle Pass. In a recent drop, the B.R.U.T.E. re‑enters the loot pool, giving OG players a reason to linger around the more relaxed gameplay.
