Minecraft’s long‑awaited dimension, The Sift, will debut in both Java and Bedrock editions next year, after more than a decade of speculation.

Game Director Agnes Larsson confirmed in the September 2026 Minecraft Live that The Sift will be integrated into vanilla Minecraft for the 2027 release cycle, becoming the first new dimension added since The End.
Preview Highlights
Early concept footage from Minecraft Dungeons 2 teased the Sift’s jagged terrain, surreal pink grass, and an enigmatic creature called a Blub, setting the tone for the unknown biomes players will soon explore.
